All freelancers, consultants and self-employed individuals know that the more options you give to a customer to pay your invoice, the faster it will get paid. This is especially true when one of the options is for clients to pay online. With the latest update to our invoicing app (Invoicing 24/7), getting paid faster is possible. Simply email invoices and get paid online via PayPal, a credit card or a debit card.
Here’s what you need to do to get started. First, download the free app from the Apple App Store for your iPhone, or Google Play Store for you Android phone. Then, create your free account right from within the app. Then you can go to the Account section and enter your PayPal.me username. If you do not have a PayPal.me username, you can set one up by going to PayPal.com.
After you complete all the steps above, and after you create an invoice, you will have the option to receive payments on your PayPal account. Just before sending the invoice by email from within the app, you can decide whether to allow payments through PayPal or not. If you enable the option, then the client can pay the invoice by using their PayPal credit, a credit card or a debit card.
I need to mention here that this feature was added as a result of direct feedback from one of our users of the app! If you have a feature that you want us to add to the app or service, you can let us know without leaving the app itself. Simply go to the “Request a feature” page in the app and leave your feedback there. If you haven’t downloaded the app yet, and you have a question or comment, you can use the contact page, or leave a comment here.
